Meet the Team

Ollie Burns

Ollie has been working in Executive Search since 2003, the significant majority of which he has specialised in Banking and more recently pivoting to FinTech. Before co-founding Burns Brightiff, Ollie managed the Banking team at Allemby Hunt having formerly worked at HB International, The Rose Partnership and Odgers Ray & Berndtson. He has a strong track record of placing mid to senior level candidates across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and the US, including placements in more remote locations such as Pakistan and Nigeria. Before graduating, Ollie worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein within their fixed income sales team. He holds a degree in Politics from Southampton University.

Richie Brightiff

Prior to co-founding Burns Brightiff, Richie was the Head of the Corporate & Transaction Banking desk at Allemby Hunt. Richie has a breadth and depth of experience having been recruiting in the City since 1997. He initially started his career researching for the FX market, before refocusing on Global Transactional Banking and the Origination and Client Coverage market. Richie is mostly focused on FinTech clients since 2019.  Richie is extremely well networked and is a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates from AVP to MD, offering subject matter expertise and informed, unbiased consultation. Richie has a BA from Middlesex University.

Amber Burns

Amber joined Burns Brightiff Consulting as Office Manager in December 2013.  She has six years’ experience in PA and Office Management roles, primarily in the media industry, and has worked at the Racing Post and Daily Mail newspapers.

Amber was  born and educated in Spain and is a fluent Spanish speaker.  She has a 2:1 BA Honours degree in English from Exeter University.
